NOTICE OF MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF PPTA MEMBERSHIP DOCUMENTS

November 2010

 

The PPTA is currently reviewing its operations, and the membership application process is undergoing improvement. With the intention of transitioning to a better way of responding to the Filipino physical therapist’s desire to be a member, the Association needs to review its membership database and reconcile outstanding applications.

 The Association would like to inform prospective members that it has imposed a necessary moratorium on the issuance of PPTA membership IDs and certificates, effective November 2010. This affects all applications received from May 2010 and onwards. PPTA will continue to accept applications, but makes it known to all that with the current operations review it will start releasing PPTA membership documents by March 2011.

 Those who decide to continue membership application, you may download the form HERE, fill the form completely and read through the new membership processing system that will take effect this 2011.

 Once complete documents are received through membership@philpta.org, and application is approved, new members will be issued an acknowledgement via e-mail that may be used temporarily as proof of PPTA membership.

 PPTA forwards the reassurance that colleagues volunteering for the PPTA Membership Committee are working to have your PPTA documents delivered at the soonest possible time. You may check for progress of the committee through this website.
