Call for Abstracts
All Filipino physical therapists and physical therapy students are encouraged to submit an abstract from an original and novel research study which addresses new and unique developments in any of the stipulated scope of physical practice (WCPT, 2017).
Research may be related to direct patient care, public health strategies or advocacies, administration and management, teaching, research and health policy. High priority research topics include technologies in rehabilitation and education, mental health and well-being, and PT to address disaster and climate-related issues.
All selected and presented abstracts will be published in the Philippine Journal of Physical Therapy Issue 1, 2024.
Only abstracts of studies completed in the past 2 years (January 2021 onwards) shall be accepted for review.
All authors of the study must approve the submission of an abstract for the conference.
A person may only submit and be a presenting author for a maximum of two (2) abstracts. Any changes to the presenting author must be notified directly and immediately by the Scientific Committee.
All abstract submissions will be reviewed by the designated Scientific Committee of the convention.
The presenter is responsible for securing his/her own funding and arrangements for registration for the convention, and any other costs related to preparing the presentation and attending the convention.
