Request for Certificate of Good Standing Process
(Implemented since 2026)
REQUIREMENTS
To request a Certificate of Good Standing, especially for former PPTA members, you must submit documentation for evaluation. To qualify for good standing status, a PPTA member must provide any two (2) of the supporting documents listed below:
a. PPTA National Convention Participation – Certificates of attendance for at least one of the last two most recent PPTA IMPETUS
b. PPTA Election Participation – Evidence of participation in the most recent PPTA National Elections, such as PPTA Electoral-Ballot Google Form Response. This will be verified through the PPTA COMELEC Election database.
c. PPTA General Assembly Attendance – Certificates of attendance for at least one (1) of the last two recent general assemblies
d. PPTA or PPTA-SIG Activity Participation – Certificates of attendance for any PPTA or PPTA SIG-organized activities
e. PPTA SIG Active Membership – Certificate of active membership in a Special Interest Group (SIG), verified or endorsed by the SIG head or committee head.
All newly approved PPTA members are considered active members with GOOD STANDING STATUS for two (2) years from the date their membership is approved
All submitted documents will be reviewed by PPTA before the Certificate of Good Standing is issued.

It typically takes 4 to 5 working days to issue this document. This timeframe ensures we can carefully review all submissions and confirm that all membership criteria are met.

In some cases, we may request supplementary documents, which may require additional review time.

To ensure fairness and accuracy for all members, we cannot accommodate on-the-spot or expedited requests. All applications must follow our standard procedure.

PROCEDURE FOR INDIVIDUAL REQUEST OF CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING:
1. Prepare and compile the required documents.
2. Submit request with attachments via completion of the official request form through this link: https://bit.ly/4gGpEFR
PROCEDURE FOR GROUP REQUEST OF CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING:
1. Gather all certificates mentioned above or supporting documents showing your continued participation in PPTA activities (e.g., Impetus attendance, seminars, webinars, etc.).
2. Save all certificates in a single PDF file.
3. Create a folder named using your surname (e.g., Reyes). Place the PDF file inside this folder.
4. Ensure one folder per member/PT only.
5. Compile all individual folders into a single main folder.
6. Upload the main folder to a Google Drive (or similar platform) and make sure the sharing settings allow anyone with the link access.
7. Send the drive link to us via email for verification.
If you have staff who are not yet a PPTA member, please encourage them to register! Only the PPTA Membership Committee is authorized to process certificate of good standing applications and queries through philptamembership@gmail.com.
